PJ learned early on to protect her heart from chaos, fear, and trauma. But as time went on, she could no longer hide the darkness that was hidden inside. She wanted to break free but didn’t know how.

When she could find no other way, she reached out to “The One” who took her by the hand and lovingly led her onto the battlefield of her soul. Step by step, in an intimate dance with “The One,” PJ learned to face her fears as the Warrior within her, began to be awakened. Through each fierce battle, she learned to overcome with the sword of the Word and the might of her pen. It is here that she discovered a new way of living, filled with the glorious light of ‘The One’ who set her feet on a creative path that led her from darkness to glory! Now she’s on a mission: to call out the courage in you and awaken the warrior inside.

ABOUT
Desert Thunder Arts was birthed in 2013 during a difficult, dry season of my life, that I would liken to a desert. One of the ways I found to express what was going on inside of me was through the arts. Shortly after painting 'Thunder in the Desert' I was reading in the Gospel of John where he was asked by the Jews who he was, in which he responded, "I am Thunder in the Desert: Make the way straight for God!"
I felt the Lord say, "You too, like John, are thunder in the desert, preparing the way, only this will be different, it will be through My creative flow, expressed through the arts."Although I only felt like a tiny rumble, I knew God was bringing forth this new vision in me. I would now like to invite those of you who have a heart for the arts to join me in this creative endeavor!
