Ch 7: Activate the Warrior Within
There is no easy way to access the Warrior within.
If that were true, we'd all be Warriors!
We must be hungry, determined, and tired of mediocrity
To contend for and fight for our destinies.
Like Gideon, God will name us
(Mighty men and women of valor)
and call us into our true identities in Him.
Even when we think
we're the weakest,
most hidden,
and least influential
person in our clan.
One simple way to activate the Warrior within is through declarations over your life.
Start with 10, beginning with the statement, "I am ________!'
(See my poem below.)
She began to declare:
I am rising above.
I'm gaining ground.
My feet know where they're going.
My eyes are focused on Him.
I know what I am to do.
I will not surrender, back down, or give up.
I stay the course of my calling.
I know God's will for my life.
He is for me.
I will not fear.
My steps are strong.
My faith is growing.
I have the victory!
Now you try it!
