to build powerful prayers,
full of passion and truth.
The Psalms show that King David
moved from a position of
fear to one of faith,
from anxiety to peace,
from sadness to hope.
Prayers written with rawness and fierceness
help us to stand firm in the face of opposition.
Whether I pick up my pen or speak with my voice,
I can shatter words of fear and defeat,
with God's Word, set on victory!
What say you, Lord?
